How to Downgrade

  1. Navigate to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click the Upgrade button (opens plan selector)
  3. Select a lower tier plan
  4. Click Confirm Change

What Happens When You Downgrade

Effective Date:

  • Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You keep current plan features until then
  • No refunds for unused time

After Downgrade:

  • Features may be limited based on new plan
  • If you exceed new plan limits (e.g., too many agents), you'll need to delete excess items
  • Data is preserved but may become read-only until within limits

Important: Make sure your usage fits within new plan limits before downgrading. You may need to delete agents, teams, or documents to comply with the new plan's restrictions.

Canceling Your Subscription

Cancel your subscription at any time.

How to Cancel

  1. Navigate to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click the Cancel button on your subscription card
  3. Review what you'll lose (premium features, increased limits)
  4. Click Cancel Subscription to confirm

What Happens When You Cancel

Immediate:

  • Cancellation is recorded
  • No further charges will be made
  • Access continues until end of billing period

At Period End:

  • Subscription becomes inactive
  • Account reverts to Free plan
  • Premium features disabled
  • Usage limits reduced to Free tier

Your Data:

  • All data is preserved
  • Agents, teams, and documents remain accessible
  • If you exceed Free plan limits, features become read-only until you delete excess items

Reactivating Your Subscription

Changed your mind? Reactivate before the billing period ends.

How to Reactivate

  1. Navigate to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click the Reactivate button (visible on canceled subscriptions)
  3. Confirm reactivation

  2. Update payment method
  3. Click Pay Now on failed invoice

Can't Upgrade

Possible Causes:

  • Payment method not on file
  • Failed previous payment

Solutions:

  1. Add valid payment method in Billing Portal
  2. Resolve any past-due invoices
  3. Try upgrading again

Downgrade Not Taking Effect

Explanation: Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately. This is intentional - you paid for the full period.

Check: View your subscription card for the "Effective Date" of the downgrade.
