Control your Gnosari subscription plan, billing cycle, and payment methods.
Current Subscription Overview ​
Your subscription dashboard shows your active plan and billing information.
Plan Information ​
What You See:
- Current plan name (Free, Professional, Enterprise)
- Billing cycle (monthly or yearly)
- Next billing date
- Subscription status (Active, Canceled, Past Due)
Subscription Statuses ​

Free Plan ​
Perfect for getting started with AI agents.
Includes:

Professional Plan ​
$29/month - For power users and small teams.
Includes:
- Up to 25 agents
- Up to 10 teams

Enterprise Plan ​
$99/month - For large organizations with advanced needs.

Upgrading Your Plan ​
Change to a higher tier plan at any time.
How to Upgrade ​
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click the Upgrade button on your current plan card
- Browse available plans in the upgrade modal
- Select your desired plan
- Click Confirm Change
What Happens When You Upgrade ​
Immediate Changes:
- New features become available instantly
- Usage limits increase immediately
- You receive prorated credit for unused time on old plan
Billing:
- Charged prorated amount for the remainder of current billing cycle
- Next billing date remains the same
- Full price of new plan charged on next billing date
Example: If you upgrade from Free to Professional halfway through the month, you'll be charged $14.50 today (prorated $29 for half month), then $29 on your next billing date.
Downgrading Your Plan ​
Switch to a lower tier plan if your needs change.
How to Downgrade ​
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click the Upgrade button (opens plan selector)
- Select a lower tier plan
- Click Confirm Change
What Happens When You Downgrade ​
Effective Date:
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You keep current plan features until then
- No refunds for unused time
After Downgrade:
- Features may be limited based on new plan
- If you exceed new plan limits (e.g., too many agents), you'll need to delete excess items
- Data is preserved but may become read-only until within limits
Important: Make sure your usage fits within new plan limits before downgrading. You may need to delete agents, teams, or documents to comply with the new plan's restrictions.
Canceling Your Subscription ​
Cancel your subscription at any time.
How to Cancel ​
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click the Cancel button on your subscription card
- Review what you'll lose (premium features, increased limits)
- Click Cancel Subscription to confirm
What Happens When You Cancel ​
Immediate:
- Cancellation is recorded
- No further charges will be made
- Access continues until end of billing period
At Period End:
- Subscription becomes inactive
- Account reverts to Free plan
- Premium features disabled
- Usage limits reduced to Free tier
Your Data:
- All data is preserved
- Agents, teams, and documents remain accessible
- If you exceed Free plan limits, features become read-only until you delete excess items
Reactivating Your Subscription ​
Changed your mind? Reactivate before the billing period ends.
How to Reactivate ​
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click the Reactivate button (visible on canceled subscriptions)
- Confirm reactivation
Effect: Cancellation is reversed, subscription continues as normal, next billing date remains unchanged.
Managing Payment Methods & Invoices ​
Gnosari uses Stripe for secure payment processing. All payment and invoice management happens through the Stripe Billing Portal.
Accessing the Billing Portal ​
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Scroll to Payment & Invoices section
- Click Open Billing Portal
You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure billing portal.
What You Can Do in the Billing Portal ​
Payment Methods:
- Add new credit/debit cards
- Update existing payment methods
- Set default payment method
- Remove old payment methods
Invoices:
- View all past invoices
- Download invoice PDFs
- See payment history
- Check upcoming charges
Billing Information:
- Update billing address
- Change billing email
- Add tax ID or VAT number
Returning to Gnosari ​
After making changes, click Return to Gnosari or close the billing portal tab. Changes sync automatically.
Billing Success & Cancel Pages ​
After subscription actions, you may be redirected to confirmation pages.
Billing Success ​
URL: /billing/success
Shows after successful:
- Plan upgrade/downgrade
- Payment method update
- Subscription activation
What You See:
- Success confirmation message
- Summary of changes made
- Next billing date
- Link to return to dashboard
Billing Cancel ​
URL: /billing/cancel
Shows if you cancel during checkout or billing portal.
What You See:
- Cancellation confirmation
- Current subscription status (unchanged)
- Option to try again
- Link to return to subscription settings
Troubleshooting ​
Payment Failed ​
Symptoms: "Past Due" status, access restricted.
Solutions:
- Open Billing Portal
- Update payment method
- Click Pay Now on failed invoice
Can't Upgrade ​
Possible Causes:
- Payment method not on file
- Failed previous payment
Solutions:
- Add valid payment method in Billing Portal
- Resolve any past-due invoices
- Try upgrading again
Downgrade Not Taking Effect ​
Explanation: Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately. This is intentional - you paid for the full period.
Check: View your subscription card for the "Effective Date" of the downgrade.
FAQs ​
Q: Can I change my billing cycle from monthly to yearly?
A: Yes, this is treated as a plan change. Select the yearly version of your plan in the upgrade modal.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your paid period.
Q: What happens if my payment fails?
A: Your subscription enters "Past Due" status. You have 7 days to update your payment method before access is suspended.
Q: Can I pause my subscription?
A: There's no pause feature. Cancel your subscription and reactivate when ready. Your data is preserved.
Q: Are there discounts for annual billing?
A: Yes, annual plans receive a discount compared to monthly billing. Contact sales for Enterprise annual pricing.
